ATF offers $5,000 reward for information on Harwood Church arson – InForum


HARWOOD, ND – The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, along with other investigative agencies, is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for an arson at the maple tree. Sheyenne Lutheran Church near Harwood.

The Church, 8711 40th Ave. N., just outside Harwood, caught fire on Friday morning June 16, causing extensive damage to the structure.

An ATF investigator who typically responds to fires related to places of worship, has worked with the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, North Dakota State Fire Marshal’s Office, and Bureau of Criminal Investigation of North Dakota to determine that the church fire was arson.

Anyone with information about the fire or those involved is asked to contact ATF.

Anyone providing information is asked to include as many details as possible regarding the fire and/or the identity and location of those responsible for the fire.
