The Saint Lucia Labor Party celebrates the achievements of Philip J. Pierre, Prime Minister and Dr. Kenny D. Anthony, former Prime Minister and MP for Vieux Fort Sud, who are both celebrating 25 years of service to their constituencies.
The Saint Lucia Labor Party will hold a Thanksgiving Service this Sunday, July 24 at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Marchand beginning at 3:00 p.m. to mark this historic occasion. This religious service will also mark the first anniversary of the SLP administration, which won the general elections on July 26, 2021.
On May 23, 1997, under the leadership of Dr. Kenny D. Anthony, the Saint Lucia Labor Party made history by winning 16 of 17 constituency seats in Saint Lucia. On his team was Philip J. Pierre, who became Castries East’s parliamentary representative. Twenty-five years later, the two six-term generals have continued to represent their constituencies, and Pierre is now the Prime Minister of Saint Lucia.
The Saint Lucia Labor Party encouraged the general public to celebrate with the Party virtually through our social media platforms.
Prime Minister of Saint Lucia, Philip J Pierre served as MP for Castries East for six terms. He had provided exceptional assistance to his constituents.
